Welcome to my portfolio! I’m an instructional designer and learning facilitator with 10+ years experience in higher education. I’m committed to connecting people with information that equips them for excellence.

Headshot of Kristin Seemuth Whaley

I create learning solutions that enable people to be great at what they do. Whether someone needs to resolve a moral dilemma or navigate a new piece of instructional technology, I always begin with this assumption: there has to be a good way to do this.

Once I find it by conducting research and consulting subject matter experts, I invite learners to actively engage with interactions that equip them with the relevant knowledge. So, they get acquainted with “the good way to do this,” and they can apply it to their context effectively.

Below are links to some samples of eLearning courses and activities that I’ve designed and developed. Farther down, you can also find my published work and links to other information that might be of interest.

What Should I Make for Lunch?

This interactive recipe selector suggests different recipes based on user preferences. Or, users can choose their own recipe if they prefer.

To create the selector, I designed and developed the activity using a variety of tools and principles. If you’re interested to hear about my process in creating this branched interaction activity, you can click on “Learn More.”

Other eLearning Samples

I’ve created over 600 learning experiences for more than 1000 learners over the past 10+ years. Here are samples that illustrate some of this work. I designed and developed each of these projects from start to finish, using a variety of tools, including Microsoft Word and Powerpoint, Articulate Storyline and Rise, Camtasia, and iMovie.
